Entrepreneurship

On today’s class we talk about entrepreneurship, we mentioned that an entrepreneur is a person that identifies an opportunity and organize the essential resources needed to take it. Regularly, it´s commonly used to people that start a business. There are two types of entrepreneurs: pure and indirect. The pure entrepreneurs are defined as the ones that initiates an enterprise not for economical need, but because they detects an opportunity and feels passion for starting it. On the other side the indirect entrepreneur creates a business due to the economical need and has a lack of resources, in Mexico the most common type of entrepreneurship is the indirect, some of the qualities of an entrepreneur is the initiative to start a business, the vision to choose correctly which opportunities are the indicated, tolerance with other and with failure because the failure is an important part of an entrepreneur, another quality is work in team and he last example we talk was assertive meaning that even that you can fail the opportunities aren’t infinites so we need to be assertive. On the other hand there are barriers for entrepreneur´s such as money, in this case for indirect entrepreneurs, other is the society in which we live and we are tight to what the others will say, the third barrier we discussed is the time just like the first one this is more for the indirect entrepreneur but some time the pure entrepreneurs use some canons to see of the business could prosper or is just a waste of time and the fourth and last barrier we talk about was knowledge.
